"Kling Klang Noise" Complaints
Clearaudio Talismann
“The coil was fried…And there were these ‘Kling Klang’ noisy high-frequency I don’t like”
The Talismann employs a set of concentric coils, and with the well-aligned magnets, it provides a superior phase response. However, the trade-off is that the coils are top-edge level to manufacture. After a long discussion with the client, he agreed to use 6N OCC wire instead of Gold, with the motive of improving the surging high frequency. The results turned out to be positive.
